Eagles’ Jalen Carter ejected seconds into NFL season after spitting on Cowboys’ Dak Prescott

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was ejected seconds into the first game of the NFL season after spitting on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Carter, one of the best players on the defending Super Bowl champions, approached Prescott as the teams lined up for the first play of the game after kickoff and, seemingly without provocation, spat on his opponent. Prescott looked shocked as a gob of phlegm landed on his chest and Carter was immediately sent from the field.
