Dubai to soon have world's largest wellness retreat with botanical gardens hanging in the air; Here's full plan

Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed announced a groundbreaking wellness project, Therme Dubai – Islands in the Sky, set in Zabeel Park. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the development will feature suspended botanical gardens, thermal pools, and cultural spaces, aiming to blend nature with urban living while prioritizing sustainability. Construction begins in 2026, completing in 2028.
