Drone strike targets Port Sudan naval base as UN warns of 'major escalation'

Port Sudan is the main entry point for humanitarian aid into Sudan. A spokesman for UN chief Antonio Guterres said the drone strikes 'could lead to large-scale civilian casualties and further destruction of critical infrastructure.' The UN has also warned of more 'human suffering in what is already the world's largest humanitarian crisis.'
