DRDO's Hyderabad arm holds successful testing of scramjet engine for over 1,000 seconds

India's DRDO achieved a significant milestone in hypersonic weapon technology with a successful long-duration test of an active cooled scramjet combustor. The test, lasting over 1,000 seconds, was conducted at a new facility in Hyderabad. This advancement paves the way for full-scale flight-worthy combustor testing and strengthens India's Hypersonic Cruise Missile Development Programme, praised by the Defence Minister.
