Donald Trump names Brendan Carr as Federal Communications Commission chairman

Donald Trump will appoint Brendan Carr as the chairman of the federal communications commission. Carr is currently the leading republican commissioner at the FCC. The FCC manages interstate and international communications. Carr supported Elon Musk's initiatives to secure broadband internet service subsidies. He opposed NBC's decision to feature Vice President Kamala Harris on "Saturday Night Live".
