Buck Woodall has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against Disney, accusing the company of copying his animated project Bucky for its Moana franchise. Woodall claims he shared his work with a former Mandeville Films director, Jenny Marchick, who then passed it on to Disney. This legal action, filed in a California court, follows a previous lawsuit dismissed in 2023 and coincides with the success of Moana 2.
