Desi atomic clock NavIC is now India's timekeeper

India will soon upgrade its timekeeping method by switching from GPS to NavIC satellites for Indian Standard Time, ensuring millisecond accuracy. This system links regional centers with atomic clocks to the National Physical Laboratory. The move aims to establish a precise and secure time distribution network benefiting critical sectors like power, telecommunications, banking, and defense.
