Derogatory language against women has no place in courtrooms: CJI D Y Chandrachud

Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud stressed the removal of derogatory language in courts, focusing on respect and inclusivity, especially towards women. He announced that Supreme Court orders are being translated into regional languages like Konkani to improve legal access. A new handbook on gender stereotypes is also prepared to educate about language sensitivity.
