Democrat Lee Jae-myung wins a sweeping victory in South Korea's presidential election

Democratic opposition candidate Lee Jae-myung has won South Korea's presidential election, which was held following former leader Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment over his declaration of martial law. Lee now faces the challenge of pulling the country out of the turmoil triggered by the political crisis and by serious economic difficulties.
