Delhi Weather Forecast: IMD forecasts thunderstorms after city’s record-breaking heatwave

Delhi woke up to light rain on Thursday, offering relief after recording its hottest February day in 19 years. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the National Capital Region (NCR), predicting thunderstorms with rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at 26 and 18 degrees Celsius, respectively. Meanwhile, air quality remains poor, with an AQI of 260. IMD has also forecast rain, snowfall, and strong winds across several northern states in the coming days.
