Delhi Traffic Police issues over 87,000 challans, three lakh notices for red light violations

Delhi Traffic Police has issued over 87,000 challans and more than three lakh notices for red light violations this year till September 15. The highest numbers of challans were issued in New Delhi district, while the least were in northeast district. Additionally, plans are underway to install more detection cameras across the city.
