Delhi to stop old vehicles from entering with new 'e-detection' system

The central government will implement an online system to detect older diesel and petrol vehicles and those lacking valid certificates on Delhi roads by Diwali. Data from FASTags and vehicle registrations will be matched with the central repository to generate e-challans. Cameras will be installed at 52 entry points, with plans for a nationwide rollout.
