Delhi Police’s Shishtachar Squad: City to get UP-like 'Anti-Romeo' teams to curb eve-teasing and harassment

Delhi Police will deploy 'anti-eve teasing' squads to improve women's safety in public places. Each district will have squads led by ACPs from the Crime Against Women Cell. Squads will focus on preventing, deterring, and responding to harassment. They will conduct surprise checks, interact with DTC drivers and passengers, and ensure victims' protection from public scrutiny.
