Delhi Police to form a Disaster Response Force to combat natural disasters and emergencies in the city
Delhi Police is forming a dedicated Disaster Response Force (DPDRF) by next year to tackle emergencies like floods and building collapses. The 70-80 officer unit, stationed across key locations, will receive specialized training from either a Central Armed Police Force or the National Disaster Response Force.
