Delhi LG seeks to link vehicle's insurance premium to traffic violations, writes to FM Sitharaman

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has proposed to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman a plan to increase insurance premiums for vehicles with a history of traffic violations. This financial deterrent aims to improve driving behavior and reduce accidents, aligning insurance costs with the actual risk posed by individual drivers.
