Delhi Cabinet, led by CM Rekha Gupta, approves implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana in its first meeting

The newly formed Delhi Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana during its first meeting on Thursday. The scheme was a key promise in the BJP's Delhi election manifesto. In addition to the national health cover, the party pledged to provide an extra Rs 5 lakh from the state government, offering residents a total health coverage of Rs 10 lakh under the scheme.
