Defence Ministry considers establishing umbrella body for aircraft, drone, and weapon testing

The Defence Ministry is planning a National Aerospace Testing Establishment (NATE) to consolidate the testing and evaluation of all military aircraft, helicopters, drones, and airborne weapons. NATE aims to enhance efficiency, reduce delays, and involve private industry from design to product certification, spearheaded by the Indian Air Force.
