Batesville girls golf finished ninth at Monday’s IHSAA State Preview at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel. The Bulldogs as a team shot a 351. Individually, Ava Smith carded a 78 to lead Batesville. A total of 16 teams participated. The Philadelphia Phillies rallied to beat the Reds 4-1 last night in downtown Cincinnati in a game heard on WRBI. The Reds held a 1-0 lead with two outs in the 8th inning before the Phillies erupted for all four runs.
