Cyclone Dana: One dead in Bengal, government evacuated over 2 lakh people, says Mamata Banaerjee

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee reported one death due to cyclone Dana and ordered evacuation of over 2.16 lakh people from low-lying areas. She directed officials to distribute relief materials and conduct a survey of damaged farmlands. The CM emphasised on repairing dams, replanting trees, and extending crop insurance benefits to support affected farmers.
