Cred, MobiKwik launch digital rupee wallets

Cred and MobiKwik, with Yes Bank’s support, have launched CBDC wallets for digital rupee transactions. The RBI has expanded access to non-bank platforms, with 15 banks now offering the official digital currency. Users can send and receive funds through UPI-linked interfaces and must complete video KYC to access the wallets.
