Court orders British Airways to pay Rs 4.2 lakh to Bengaluru family after denied boarding

A Bengaluru family was denied boarding on a flight to the US at KIA due to a payment issue. The consumer court ordered British Airways and travel agency CheapOair to pay Rs 1.2 lakh in compensation and costs for the inconvenience and harassment caused. The family had to book another expensive flight and faced financial loss.
