Cop killed in encounter in Udhampur's forest area

A Jammu and Kashmir Police Special Operations Group member has died during an ongoing encounter in Udhampur district. The clash began when security forces launched a search operation in the Soan-Martha area. The officer was critically injured and later succumbed. A terrorist is believed to be wounded in the exchange. The operation continues.
