C J Roy, founder and chairman of Confident Group, was discovered deceased at his Bengaluru office on Friday, having sustained bullet injuries from his licensed firearm. Police suspect suicide, with a conclusion pending the post-mortem examination. Staff found Roy after hearing a gunshot, and he was later declared dead at a hospital.
