Company incorporations surged in January, ending a six-month decline, with 16,788 new companies registered, reflecting improved investor confidence. Registrations of limited liability partnerships also rose. The Economic Survey calls for massive deregulation to further boost business ease. Incorporations had dipped earlier due to normalization post an unusual spike in 2023-24 and urban consumption uncertainties.
