Chinese hackers breached US agency that reviews foreign investments, CNN reports

Chinese hackers infiltrated the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS), according to three U.S. officials who spoke to CNN. CFIUS examines foreign investments for potential threats to national security. This intrusion was connected to a larger hack of the U.S. Treasury Departments unclassified computer system.
