China has over 7 million registered organ donors

Data from an organ donation awareness event shows over 7.05 million in China have registered as voluntary organ donors. To date, there have been numerous posthumous organ, body and corneal donations, saving over 170,000 lives and restoring sight to over 100,000. China has established over 280 memorial sites and holds annual Qingming Festival events to promote this life - saving initiative.
