Cherry Blossoms Start Blooming in Japan's Yamagata; 8 Days Earlier Than Average
Cherry blossom trees of the Someiyoshino variety have started to bloom at Yamagata’s Kajo Park, the city announced Tuesday. This is eight days earlier than both average and last year, with full bloom expected on or after Monday.
