Centre forms committee under Defence Secretary to look into Air Force's overall capability development

India's Defence Ministry has established a committee to evaluate the Indian Air Force's capability development. This comes amid concerns about China and Pakistan's growing air power and the IAF's fighter aircraft shortage. The committee will explore indigenous design, development, and acquisition projects to address the IAF's needs and submit a report within two to three months.
