Centre extends Attorney General R Venkataramani's term by two years

The Central Government has extended Senior Advocate R. Venkataramani's tenure as the Attorney General for India for an additional two years, effective October 1, 2025. This re-appointment, confirmed by the Ministry of Law and Justice, ensures he will continue as the Union Government's highest law officer until September 30, 2027.
