Carrying Jyotirao Phule's Trishul: education, justice, social reform

India celebrates Mahatma Jyotirao Phule's 200th birth anniversary. Phule was a great social reformer who championed education and equality. He founded Satyashodhak Samaj to fight injustice. His wife, Savitribai Phule, was also a pioneer. This year calls for renewing commitment to Phule's vision of social reform and justice for all.
