Canada's Doug Ford threatens to cut off energy for three US states

Doug Ford, who is the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, said he will be applying a 25% surcharge on the energy exports to the US states like New York, Minnesota, and Michigan. He has blamed US President Donald Trump for the same, adding that he will ensure that America feels the pain. This comes after 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada by the US came into effect on Tuesday.
