Cabinet nod to Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan; earmarks Rs 79,156 crore for upliftment of tribal communities

The Union Cabinet, led by PM Narendra Modi, has approved the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan with a budget of Rs 79,156 crore. The scheme aims to uplift tribal communities across 63,000 villages in 30 states and UTs, benefiting over 5 crore people through various interventions in housing, healthcare, education, and connectivity.
