Cabinet extends One-Time Special Package for DAP fertilisers to farmers

The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the extension of the One-time Special Package for Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) beyond the NBS subsidy, covering the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. The budgetary requirement for the extended package is estimated at Rs. 3,850 crore. This move aims to ensure the sustainable availability of DAP at affordable prices for farmers.
