Cabinet approves Rs 2,000 cr grant-in-aid for NCDC
The Union Cabinet has approved a Rs 2,000 crore grant-in-aid for the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) over four years. This decision aims to enable NCDC to mobilize an additional Rs 20,000 crore for lending to cooperatives, benefiting its 29 crore members, of whom 94% are farmers.
