Boy, 4, dies after being hit by bus as he walked out of hospital in Margate, Kent

A four-year-old boy has died after being struck by a bus outside a hospital in Kent. Zaahir Jan had been visiting his grandmother at the Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother Hospital in Margate when the incident happened just after 4pm on Thursday. Kent Police said the bus, a white single-decker vehicle, was travelling near the entrance to the A&E department when Zaahir left the hospital on foot and was struck.
