Black Panther spin-off on Okoye not in the works but Marvel executive confirms character will return soon

A TV series based on Okoye, Danai Gurira's character in the Black Panther films, has been ruled out. Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Studios' streaming, television and animation division, said that the character will return to screens. As per rumours, Danai Gurira may next be seen playing the tough bodyguard in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.
