Bihar govt to provide financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month to unemployed graduates: CM Nitish Kumar

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announced expansion of the ‘Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayta Bhatta Yojana to provide Rs 1,000 per month for two years to unemployed graduates aged 20–25. Earlier limited to intermediate-passed youths, the scheme now covers arts, science, and commerce graduates without jobs or self-employment. The move comes ahead of state assembly elections later this year.
