Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Nomination filing begins for 121 seats in Phase 1

Nomination papers are now being filed for the first phase of Bihar assembly elections. Polling for 121 seats starts on November 6. Candidates have until October 17 to submit their papers. Major alliances, NDA and INDIA bloc, are still negotiating seat-sharing. Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj party has announced 51 candidates. The second phase of polling is scheduled for November 11.
