Indias Department of Consumer Affairs has allowed manufacturers to revise the MRP on unsold stock following changes in GST rates, offering relief to consumers. Manufacturers, packers, and importers of pre-packaged goods can declare revised retail prices through stamping, stickers, or online printing, provided the original MRP remains visible and the price change reflects only the GST adjustment.
