Bengaluru no more the most congested city in India; This city tops the list

Kolkata is now India's most congested city, surpassing Bengaluru, according to the 2024 TomTom Traffic Index. It is the worlds second slowest moving city after Barranquilla. Other Indian cities like Pune also feature among the most congested globally. The report highlights outdated infrastructure and urbanization as key factors causing traffic congestion.
