Bengaluru court takes fresh cognisance of chargesheet against B S Yediyurappa, issues summons

A special court in Bengaluru has issued summons to veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa and three others in connection with a POCSO Act case. The former chief minister faces charges related to a complaint of sexual assault involving a 17-year-old girl. The Karnataka High Court directed the special court to reassess the CID's charge sheet.
