BEL inks pact with SAC-ISRO to boost indigenisation of defence and space production

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed an MoU with ISRO's Space Applications Centre to produce space-grade Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) domestically. This collaboration aims to boost indigenisation in defence and space sectors and save foreign exchange. TWTAs will be used in satellite communication, navigation payloads, microwave remote sensing, and scientific missions.
