Badrinath Temple portals to open on May 4

The Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand will open for devotees at 6 am on May 4, as decided on Basant Panchami after prayers at the former Tehri royal court. The temple, part of the Char Dhams, closes after Diwali and reopens in April-May. The reopening ceremony included the presence of multiple dignitaries, including Tehri's former Maharaja and religious officials.
