Azerbaijan: Repression intensifies in the run-up to COP29 in Baku
Arrests against dissenting voices and civil society are on the increase, according to a report by the NGOs Human Rights Watch and Freedom Now. At least 30 people have been detained, ahead of the UN COP29 climate summit starting on November 11.
