Australian scientist confirm 100-year-old theory, discover new cell type that can heal chronic injuries

Scientists from SAHMRI and the University of Adelaide have discovered a new cell type called EndoMac progenitors. These cells, found in the aortas of adult mice, can transform into blood vessel and immune cells.
