Assam rolls Orunodoi 3.0 scheme with annual budget of Rs 5,604 crore

The Assam government has launched Orunodoi 3.0, aiming to provide financial support to 37.2 lakh families with an annual budget of Rs. 5,604 crore. The scheme prioritizes vulnerable groups and integrates with the NFSA for comprehensive social security. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the initiative, which also includes new ration cards for nearly 20 lakh beneficiaries.
