Assam: Nod for oil exploration by Vedanta deferred in Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary
The National Board for Wildlife has deferred oil exploration approval in the eco-sensitive zone of Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, pending site inspection. MP Gaurav Gogoi has welcomed the deferment.
