Arctic sea ice just dropped to an alarming new low
The Arctic should be reaching its annual maximum levels of ice at this time of year, but instead it’s experiencing record lows, with roughly 0.5 million square miles less ice than average levels. That’s an amount of missing ice twice the size of Texas.
