Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jorhat on Friday evening for his three-day visit to the northeastern states of Assam and Mizoram, officials said. Shah was received at Jorhat airport by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, his cabinet colleagues and senior officials of the state government.
