Amid land row, Muda chief K Mari Gowda quits on CM's orders

K Mari Gowda, the Chairman of Mysore Urban Development Authority (Muda), resigned from his position following instructions from Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah. This comes amid a massive housing plot allotment scam involving several politicians, including the CM's family. The Lokayukta police are investigating the involvement of Siddaramaiah and others in the Muda allotment case.
